Music
A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence.
~Leopold Stokowski
Music touches our lives with a power unlike anything else our perceptions can sense. It can uplift, relax, or anger us; music can even bring us to tears. Think back to your favorite movie and imagine watching it again without the music in the background to set the tone, tempo and mood of its characters, scenes and plot. The songs of our generation have the almost uncanny ability to bring back a rush of the emotions we felt when we heard our favorite song the first time. Music in film, for ballet, modern dance and installations, it is all Music by Design.
